Believe it or not, that's not a real glass door leading onto another room in the background. It's a Trickeye painting, or if you prefer, a beautiful example of trompe l'oeil painting in situ.

Trickeye is run by artist Colin Failes - and specialises in exactly this kind of thing. Colin has been creating and crafting classic trompe l’oeil paintings and murals in public buildings and private houses for over twenty years.

What Colin does is to execute a large (or small) scale beautiful trompe l’oeil painting in either a domestic or commercial space.

Colin is a Royal Academy graduate and works with both traditional and modern materials, in situ.
